We are a homeschooling family with six children living in the beautiful Southwest United States. Raising Labrador Retrievers as a business came both from our love for the breed and from our desire to provide learning opportunities for our kids. Feeding, training, grooming, preparing for whelping, socializing and of course, cleaning up after our dogs has helped to develop responsibility and work ethic in our children.
We hope that as our children grow, they will also gain business skills that will serve them well once they leave our home.
The profits that they earn through raising and selling puppies will go towards their future education expenses.
Hi! I’m the oldest son in the family. I turned 18 in June and graduated from Homeschool HS. I am currently finishing my B.A. in Liberal Arts and Business through AGMU.
While in HS, I completed the Precision Machining Program through JTED and earned a certificate in Computer Numerical Control (CNC). My plan is to complete an Associates degree in Machine Tool Technology this year with hopes of eventually working as a CNC programmer.
I enjoy blacksmithing and make knives and other hand forged goods that I sell in my Etsy shop (triedwithfireforge.etsy.com).
